Reddit's IPO is set to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on Thursday.

The offering is valued at approximately $6.4 billion, with the company expected to raise its target of $748 million from the public market.

The company filed paperwork for its IPO a month ago, after initially pursuing a listing in 2021 with a $15 billion valuation.

The SEC filing revealed investments in cryptocurrency and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman as investors.

Despite 2023 revenue of $804 million, Reddit has not made a profit in its nearly 20-year history.

The company recently signed a $60 million data-sharing deal with Google.

Reddit faces challenges including an FTC investigation and a patent dispute with Nokia Corp.
